{"id":123,"date":"2005-08-25T07:00:43","date_gmt":"2005-08-25T11:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.callblog.net\/?p=123"},"modified":"2025-10-17T13:33:47","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T17:33:47","slug":"new-computer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/callblog.net\/blog\/post\/new-computer","title":{"rendered":"New Computer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Arriving today:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcconnection.com\/ProductDetail?Sku=5826944\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.callblog.net\/wp-images\/5824834.jpg\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcconnection.com\/ProductDetail?Sku=5720251\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.callblog.net\/wp-images\/5720251.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The box needs a bit more RAM and I&#8217;ll be throwing a higher end graphics card in it at some point (but with DVI on the motherboard, my only real complaint is shared video memory), but I&#8217;ve already got a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.callblog.net\/?p=107\">DVD burner<\/a>, so no worries about the base CD-ROM drive.  <\/p>\n<p>Work can can not end too quickly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE<\/strong> 11:56am &#8211; The machine arrived and is in  working order.  I ran <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laptopshowcase.co.uk\/downloads.php?id=1\">Dead Pixel Buddy<\/a> and display seems to be perfect.
